ground and the bird cannot get out.
Chestnuts:- Boys get a piece of string and they bore a hole in a lot of chestnuts and put the string through them. Two boys come together with the chestnuts and "Conquer". One boy holds up the string with the chestnuts on the ends and the other boy hits it with his until he breaks it. Then the other boys gets his turn at breaking a nut. For every nut broken the breaker scores "ten" but if he breaks his own nut in trying to break the other lad's nut the other lad get his "ten". Thus they play and who ever scores "Two Hundred" first wins.
