    In the parish of Drumraney there was a man named Peter Martin who was hanged in Rathmore innocent, for the cause that he was supposed to have killed another man. When he was on the scaffold he began to cry, and his mother went up to him and bid him good bye and she said to him.
    "Hold your courage brave brave Reetin Martin.
    Do not lament or cry,
    For by and by with the angles in glory,
    You will shine on high."
    When he was hanged three white pigeons flew up in the air over the scaffold,
