  1. In the school district there are many fairy forts. The largest ones are Kennedy's, Judge's and Barbavilla forts. Judge's fort is situated on the northern side of Kilcumney. It is surrounded by a large ditch. Whitethorn, blackthorn, and briars grow on the fort. There is one entrance on the southern side. Barbavilla fort is situated on the southern side of Barbavilla house. Bramble bushes grow on the fort. There are two entrances, one on the northern side and the other on the Eastern side.
