    in 1929-30-31. They won a shield and a set of medals at Mullingar in 1932. Not until 1932 did they prove to be the all Ireland champions when they beat the Army Metro Team at the Tailtean Games in Dublin. For this they got a set of medals, each medal is about quarter of a pound weight and in in a padded case.
    The best and strongest man on the team is Patrick Gargan, Creewood, Slane.
