    To meet a black cat in the morning is lucky, especially if he looks towards you and goes to the left. Not quite so good if he goes to the right.

    Magpies
    "One for good luck,
    Two for bad luck,
    Three for a wedding,
    Four for a wake,
    Five for a christening.

    Red-haired Woman
    Unlucky to meet in the morning, especially if you are on the way to a fair. You must return home & start again if you are to do good business.
