    Local Happenings.
    There was a man in this parish named Francis Devlin, He was a process - server. He was killed by unknown men up near Heronstown and his body carried away and thrown out at the back of a ditch. The buses that were growing on the ditch died away and never grew again. The place is called now "Devlin's Hollow".
