  1. Signs of Rain:-
    When the dog eats grass.
When a cat sits with its back to the fire.
When the swallows are flying low.
When you hear the Hill-of-Down train roaring
When ther is a white frost.
A circle or halo round the moon. The farther away the circle from the moon, the nearer the rain, and the nearer the circle the farther away the rain.
Wild birds flying about, and making a lot of noise.
Little clouds in the sky called "cow-tracks"
White clouds from the sun to the earth. These white clouds are called "Moses' Horns".
When the cat washes her face on the hearth.
The stars fall from the sky.
The sun goes pale to bed.
A rainbow appears in the sky.
