  1. A lane called Bottle Lane leads off from Platten Road. It is said there is a little woman seen every night beside a stream there. My grandmother, coming through the lane one night saw the little woman, wearing a black dress and a white apron, and with a band on her hair.
My grandmother said, "Good night," but the little woman did not answer her.
Then my grandmother said again "God bless us and save us, isn't it very dark. Then the little woman said "Very!" three times, and immediately disappeared. She did not come again.
