    Many are the moates, or raths, which may be seen around this district, and the following are some of them.

    Many are the moats, or raths, which may be seen around this district, and the following are some of them.
    Cnocansileas, Pheonixtown, rath, Drumboe and a small one in the aulth near Hungry Hall.
    The following story is connected with Phoenixtown rath.
    A man was going home from Collon, one night at about eleven o'clock. As he was going past a place called the Scregg[?], he met a funeral, and he said to himself "Thinks I this funeral is very late" and before he had the words out of his mouth, out stepped a little man, and said "give us a hand to bury this corpse" and he said, "I can't I have a good journey to go home." Come on, said they
