  1. To the North of this district ther is a ridge of Hills. - Almondstown, Castlecoe & Blackhall. On Almondstown there is said to be hidden treasure.
    There are 3 stones placed in the shape of a cross & under these there is said to be buried 3 times the rent of Ireland in gold.
    The stones are heavy. No person has ever tried to lift them as it is said one person's live must be lost in the attempt to get the gold.
