- 1. Long ago when the English came to Ireland, they changed nearly all the Irish place names and names of fields to English. There are only a few names of fields still called in Irish.
2. There is a field called "Cnoc a Riog" which means the Kings Hill. It is surrounded with tall trees. On top of it there is an old tower.
3. Another place is called Cnoc an t-Sagairt. A mass stone is still to be seen on top of the hill.(continues on next page)- Collector
