  1. Boys and girls like to be making toys for pastime.
    There is not very much time for pastime now adays, but what-ever time there is, boys and girls make use of it.
    Girls make chains of daisies in Spring. They make them by picking wild daisies and getting a needle and thread and sticking it through the centre of the daisies. When they have the chain long enough they knot the two ends of the daisy chain together and then they put it around their necks.
    They also make dolls and dolls' dresses. They make dolls by getting some straw or shavings and shaping it into a body. Then they get some canvas or strong cloth and sow it on to the straw. They also shape the feet and the hands in the same way as the body and then
