    roof. The door is a large being about seven feet square. There are two fireplaces within. The bellows were bought. They are made of thin oilcloth and worked with a stick.
    The smith uses, sledges, hammers, nails, an anvil, bellows water and many others things. The smith shoes horses and asses but no cattle. He does not make any farm implements. The only part of the forge-work done in the open air is the banding of wheels and this work is usually done outside the forge. This work is only done on certain days.
    There is no belief around here with regard to the forewater or to the sparks that fly from the Red Hot Iron. The smiths never had any privileges
