   and Thomas had no money for the cristening. When the priest had the child babtised he came down to Tom for the money. But Tom had no money for the priest, so then they were thinking of what they would do. They didn't know (know) what they would do with him. So for a finish Tom said what he said. "Take it off he again"

   Once there lived in DamerVille, a very rich man by the name of Damer. One day he was getting a suit of clothes made by a tailor by the name of Hanrahan. When he brought them to Damer he asked him how much and replied. One look at your gold," and Damer said allright you can have it. And so he opened the room doors and showed him all his gold. Then Damer said, "What good did that do you?" He replied and said that it did him just as much good as it did him. So Damer told him to take as much gold as he could take in his two fists. He got well paid for the suit of clothes.
