    Near the village of Hainstown, Co. Kilkenny there lived a family by the name of Reilly. They were poor and careless as regards religions
    An uncle in America died leaving them a big legacy. They left their old home to build a fine mansion some distance away on ground where a Catholic Church once stood. There were many stones around and three brothers used them in building the house. The work went on but in the evening of the first day, the eldest brother heard a voice say : "Do not build here or you will live to regret it." He told the others but they did not mind. Some weeks later the same thing occurred to the second brother, and later to the third. But still they
