  1. Hidden Treasure
    Amongst the many Counties of Ireland there is scarcely any district in which hidden treasure is not to be found.
    There is some of this treasure to be found in the Moat of Tullamaine.
    Tullamaine is situated about three and a half miles west of Fethard by the side of the castle.The owners name is Mr Vigors. This treasure is placed there by the Danes. They are placed there because the Danes at that time had no banks to put their money in, and they put it under this Moat for safety. This treasure was placed there about four hundred years ago.
    When Captain Harden came to Tullamaine he unearthed the Moat. He found an iron door and there was cut stone around the door, inside it he found a tomb, it was
