both church and graveyard must be very old as some tombstones are inscribed as far back as 1789. About half a mile from my home is situated the "Witches Nest". It is supposed to have been the home of an old witch. A stone slab is said to have been her table a flat stone her bed and a large rock her chair, the mark of a rosary beads can still be seen on the chair. There is supposed to be a secret spring in the chair and whoever opens it, will find gold, diamonds, and jewels.
