    I. On May Eve people go to another person's house, and ask something that they would have themselves, in order to injure them. (other's)
    II. There is also a custom, when people are giving away potatoes, they get sixpence or a shilling for luck because they would be afraid their luck in potatoes would go.
    III. On St Martin's night people kill a pair of chickens or hen, and spill the blood around the house in honour of St Martin
