    Food in olden times
    Eighty years ago the people had only three meals a day namely breakfast, dinner and supper.
    Early in the morning they did not eat any meal until eight o'clock. They got up at half past five in the morning and then went out and milked the cows. For the breakfast they ate potatoes, butter and milk. They had no meal then until half past twelve. For that they had potatoes, butter and milk. They only had meat twice a week Tuesday and Thursday.
