  2. In the townland of Dromsally the houses were more numerous about fifty years ago, than they are now.
    In times gone by three families emigrated to England, or to America. But after some years a few of them returned to Ireland and were living in Dromsally until they were evicted because they couldn't pay their rent.
    There is a great big wood in the district called "ellí John O'Malley's
