  1. About one hundred yards from the road in the farm of Maurice Drake there is a well from which a stream flowes into the road side and flows under the road into the farm of James Howard.

  2. There is a field in the farm of Pat Condon called the Black Field because the surface is blak turf. It is said that the olden people used to dig turf there in the years 1846 and 1847.
