    Our home looks out

    The following song was composed by a number of pupils on the resignation of the late Thomas O'Moore about 35 years ago.
    The good old teacher whom we loved no longer calls the roll.
    May Providence be kind to him he was a jovial soul.
    His genial ways and kindly smile brought pupils with a will.
    To learn their simple lessons in the schoolhouse neath the hill.
