    for March 17th. Thursday is also a very unlucky day to cut clothes. It is said that there is a certain day in the seven years when you should not cut clothes. There was a man named James Hoar in Ballingarry. He was a very good tailor. A woman went to him to make a suit of clothes for her son; as he was getting his confirmation on Friday. He did not like refuse the woman. He decided that he would cut the clothes on Thursday since the woman begged of him to to it. He made the clothes for the boy. The boy was confirmed on Friday and died on Saturday. They blamed the cutting of the clothes for it. People say it is not right
