  1. The food the people used to eat long ago was potatoes in the morning for their breakfast, at dinner and in the evening for their supper. Sometimes the people used to make a potato cake. They used to buy a half-sack of meal and that used to do them for three months and a half. They used to get a basin of sour milk and they used to get a plate and they used to get a grain of salt and put it into the plate and eat the potatoes with the salt. Two used to eat out of one plate those times.
