    The new system of marriage is different from the old system.

    The new system of marriage is different from the old system. People are married in churches now and so were people long ago but it was a great custom of theirs to be married in the farmer's house. The people are married on Shrove Tuesday or before it now and it was so in olden times. Long ago when the marriage ceremony was over the newly - married couple went home in a covered in car drawn by two horses. At some part of the road a rope was held
