    A Fairy Fort.
    There is a fairy fort in Mr. O Gorman's land in Glenbeg. It is a round fort. There is a white thorn bush growing over the fort, and it was said long ago that the fairies used to be dancing around this briar at 12 o'clock in the night. There used to be several people passing, who had seen these fairies. They used to be all clothed in white. And anyone that used to pass there after 12 o'clock they would haunt them. There were also lights seen near this white thorn. One night there was a man walking along the road after mid-night, and he saw a person standing upon the fence, clothed in white. The person asked the man, what was his business here. The man was afraid to answer, but before he had time to speak, the person had disappeared into the form of a dog. The man walked away
