   the castle, called Castle Gael. It was covered all over with stone flags. When the rent was due Gael would raise a flag. This flag was a fortnight's notice for the rent. Anyone who had not the rent paid when the fortnight was over would have proceedings taken against him. When there was a hunt around the place the huntsmen used to dine there. This castle fell through carelessness, and the local people drew away the stone to build houses. About a century ago this castle was built. Gael was was supposed to be a very good landlord. The castle was built with stones and mortar.
