During the holidays a very funny thing that I am going to tell you about now happened.
One day I told Mrs Burns that there would be half past six Mass on Sunday. Of course she went off straight to tell all the neighbours about it and I knew well it was not true.
Sunday morning came and Mrs Burns and all the neighbours were up but to their surprise no priest came to say Mass.
Mrs Burns was very angry and she was more angry for spreading the lie. When I got up I went out to her and I said
"Ye had a quick Mass"
