  1. There was a man once who slept in a haybarn. It was in the winter time and the farmer went to cut a bench in the hay to feed the cows. He cut the head off the man. When he was falling the hay, the head and the body rolled down. The farmer caught the head and put it on the body. It was a frosty morning and the head stuck to it. The man went to the fire to warm himself. There was water running from his nose and he put up his hand to blow his nose. He threw his head behind the fire.
