- There is a only one graveyard in this parish. The name of it is Caheragh Graveyard. Caheragh Graveyard is situated about a mile from Caheragh chapel. All the people are buried there always. It is a square graveyard with a wall around it. There is no old church in it but people are usually buried in them. It is a level graveyard. There are two or three palm bushes growing in the middle of it. There is a lot of crosses and tombs in it. There is a cross over every grave and the most of the crosses are made of stone. Some people are buried in tombs. There are about six or seven tombs in the graveyard. The tombs are made of cement like small houses. There are two or three piseogs about a graveyard and they are you should carry a corpse the longest way to the graveyard. You should into carry away any thing belonging to the graveyard. There is no idle graveyard. There is a plot in Caheragh graveyard for unbaptised children. Long ago there was no graveyards there and the people had(continues on next page)
