  1. One graveyard that is in the parish of Caheragh. It is known as Caheragh graveyard and is about one mile from Caheragh Catholic Church and is in the townland of Caheragh not far from the Ilen River. It is a square graveyard with a wall built all round it and a gate going into it. The graveyard is level and there is no ruin or chapel in it. There are three small palm trees in the graveyard a large number of headstones. There is an iron cross over some graves. There are six tombs altogether in the graveyard. They are made of cement. There are no idle graveyards in the parish. However there was a small graveyard in Mr Patrick McGuire’s land of Gurrane about one hundred and twenty five years ago. It is called a “cill” and there are a lot of who thorn bushes growing on one side of it. The “cill” is close to a stream. Once sheep got into Caheragh graveyard and that night an RIC man was hunting
