  1. One day a poor man was walking up the street in Ballinasloe. He met the Bishop and Father Joyce. He asked the Bishop for a penny and he gave him a shilling and the poor man said "God bless you."
Father Joyce gave him a half a crown and he said "God Almighty, bless you". The Bishop asked him what was the difference between "God bless you" and "God Almighty bless you." The poor man said "one and six".
