  2. The following cures were collected by Bridie Meeley from her mother.
    The Pit of the Stomach down. Place a penny on the Stomach, light a candle on top of the penny, place a glass tumbler on top of the lighted candle and penny. If the Pit of the Stomach is down it will go up in the glass. It is only the Seventh Son that can cure it. He can't say how much he will charge, if he does the person will not be cured.
    If a person had warts, get a slimade, let him crawl over the warts, put him on a white-thorn tree when
