  1. There are several sign of rain in my district. The most common are
    1. An gealach s a bhéal máirde
    People say that when the moon has its face upwards that it is a sign of rain being near.
    2.Bogha leath ar maidin
    Madra gaoirhe tráinóna
    If a half rainbow is seen in the morning or if small fleecy clouds are seen in the sky in the evening.
    3. Frog having dark brown colour
    A frog is a greenish colour. If a frog of a brownish colour is seen people say that rain is near.
    4. Sun going down in a dark or pale cloud
    The sun usually goes down in a brought cloud. If it is seen to go down in a dark cloud rain is said to be very near.
