  1. In olden days the people had certain cures of their own for sickness, because doctors were very scarce. Most of these old cures prevail still. The old people who are alive at the present day wish to see the young people carry out these cures.
    Measles -
    Droppings of sheep were boiled and the water given to the patient to drink Sometimes milk was added in order to pretend to the person it was tea.
    Whooping cough.
    A ferret was got. Milk was given to him to drink and the remainder was given to the patient to drink.
