  1. In the year 1921 there was a severe thunder storm. On that day there was a funeral in Kelgefin Church yard. The thunder and lightening was so severe and everywhere got so dark that all the people had to leave the place when the grave was half covered and next day when it stopped they had to come back to cover it.
    In the year 1878 there was a fierce rain storm that flooded everyplace. The turf was all saved on the bog and when the flood care it brought it all away.
