When swallows fly high.
When swans fly from lake to lake.
If the sun sets red.
If the sky is blue and cloudless.
If the smoke goes up straight.
Beliefs about bad weather:
Swallows fly low.
Swans fly inland.
Curlieus whistle, Insects on window panes.
If the cat sits with his back to the fire.
If there is a dark ring around the moon
A rainbow in the morning.
A starry sky at night is a sign of frost.
