   Most of the leaves were blown from the trees. Some of the branches were broken in the trees. All the fruit was cut off from the fruit trees. The hailstones knocked the dash off the houses. I heard about the hailstorm from James Hayden. He lives in Chapel Street, Ballinakill. He is a workman. He was born in Ballinakill and he spent his life in Ballinakill. He heard about the hailstorm from his father. The hailstorm took place in July 1907.

2. The Old Brewery that was in Ballinakill

   I heard about the old brewery from Mrs. Quinlan, Graveyard, Ballinakill, Laoighis. She heard it from James Hayden, Chapel St., Ballinakill who is her father, and he heard it from his father. She is about fifty years of age now and her father is 85 years of age. She and her father spent their lives in Ballinakill. He is a labourer.
