    One night a man was coming home from rambling. When he came to the Preaching House in Annatrim a black man stepped out of the ditch and walked along beside him. When he came up farther a white woman dipped out and walked along beside him.
    After a while the man fell and he got up and the man and woman were gone.

    One night a man was coming home from a fair. When he was coming home the road he saw a man walking before him,He told the man to throw himself up on the cart. When the man got up the horse would not go. He beat the horse and at last the horse started to go. When he came up to the gateway a woman was sitting there and the man disappeared.
