  1. There are four graveyards in the parish of Castlecomer. Two of them are in Castlecomer, one in Dysart and one in Smithstown.
    All of them are still in use. None of them are round they are all square. Two of them surround two churches, another of them has the ruins of a church in it, and another has no church at all. The one in Smithstown has trees growing in it. The graveyards all have old tombs. Some of the crosses are made of iron or metal, and more of them are made of marble or concreate.
    There is no story or tradition connected with any of the graveyards.
