  1. There are nine tailors in our district. These work in their own houses. Two of them stock cloth. Cloth is not spun in our district. There are no sayings or traditions connected with the tailors. The implements which they use are:- machine, lap board, smoothing iron, a square, a thimble, a bodkin, scissors and needles. Shirts are not made locally. Stockings are knitted but the thread is not spun. Special kinds of clothes are worn on special occasions such as a black hard hat at the funeral of a relative.
