    griddle also. They roasted the potatoes too and put buttermilk over them.
    Some times they had maws for dinner. They used boil them for two hours and put white sauce over them. Sometimes they stuffed them and roasted them. Other times they fried them.
    On Christmas Day they used have mutton and roasted potatoes.
    On Easter Sunday morning we eat the eggs that are blessed on Good Friday. They mark the eggs with a cross. The father takes the egg first. Then he makes the sign of the Cross and says a Hail Mary. Then he
