    Grange of the Monks
    1. in a very ancient town and full of historic interest.
    2. The Cistercian monks built a monastry here in 1204 A.D.
    3. In course of time a town sprung up around the monastry.
    4. The monastry to-day is in ruins and has practically disappeared. The main street of the town is bulit on the ruins.
    5. The abbey has been preserved and to-day is the parish - abbey church and place of Catholic worship for the people of the district.
