The next evening they started for Coolhill. Reaching their destination they started to dig.
They dug one certain spot. Soon one of them said, "We are very near it now," but the brown bull soon appeared. The three men ran away and the bull pursued for a time, and then disappeared.
The spot where the men dug is still to be seen, as there are three large holes, from which the earth was taken. People fear to continue the search as the brown bull is still believed to guard it.
