    Ye curous seachers of this lovely nation,
    Assist my genius as I lay down.
    The gorgeous scenery of this plantation.
    Ye bards of eloquence on me ne'er frown.
    Now to commence with a christian fountain
    No trouble near its so fine and gay.,
    The verdant laurel adjacent mountain.
    That looks so charming in the month of May.

    The fields are strewn with the gifts of flora
    The pinks and daisies perfume the vale
    All around the borders are decked with roses.
    'Tis there the traveller would be regained
    The winding Barrow and silvery water.
    'Tis there the salmon do sport and play
    And local lovers on its banks do saunter.
    To add more beauty to Kearney Bay.
