They started to dig a hole and when they had finished one lad said to the other "She will meet a surprise". The girl could hear all that they were saying. She knew they were going to kill her. When the men were tired waiting they would go to the girls house and see why she did not come. The girl was still up in the tree and she saw them starting to go around the road and she said she would go through the fields and get home before them. She went in to her(continues on next page)
