- (continued from previous page)is very dark and there are roads in it going in different dirictions. It is said that there is a stream in it and whosoever crosses this stream, will never return, but I don't think anyone went as far as it.
There is also a rath near Ballyragget called "Miss Maher's. One night a boy was passing and he saw a crowd of little people lurking. He got his hurley and began to play.
