The two McGahey brothers were taken in a round,
They were conveyed to Belfast jail, by the forces of the crown,
They were tried without a jury and the two condemned to die,
They raised a rule in power, the Almighty God on high.

You brave and bold McDermott, you have been very true
You fought the cause for Ireland that long had been denied,
You fought for death and glory, you have not fought in vain.
You are a credit to your country and the members of Sinn-Fein.
McGahey, Keenan, McDermott were volunteer in 1916-21 movement.
