    I was born in the year 1882 in the townland of Meentogues, in the parish of Rathmore, Co. Kerry.

    The priest asked him several questions which Owen answered satisfactorily.
    "Now", said Owen, "may I ask your Reverence a question?"
    "Yes", said the priest.
    "What was Our Lord doing when he was seven years of age?" said Owen.
    The priest had to confess that he did not know, [?] asked Owen to tell him the answer.
    "Oh! no", said Owen, "Unless you pay me."
    The priest gave him a coin and said:- "Now, tell me what Our Lord was doing when he was seven years of age."
    "Well!" said Owen, "He was rising eight."
