  1. Halloween
    We all look forward to this night. My mother cleans the house and she bakes a barn breac and she puts a ring in the middle of it. Who ever gets the ring he or she is supposed to be married before that night twelve months. I give invitations to all my friends to our house. I get nuts and apples.
    When my friends arrive we st down to supper. We joke and laugh about the one who gets the ring. When supper is over we play "ducking" and "dallóg". We get a tub of water and place an apple in it. Each of us [trys] to catch it without touching it with the hand. Sometimes we put a coin in the water and we try to lift it with our mouths. When we are tired of this game we tie an apple to a cord and we fasten the latter to the ceiling. We swing the apple backward and forward and each of us [trys] to catch it with our mouths to take a bite out of it. When we get tired we play dallóg and after
